2024 Illumination Award of Merit
The Northern Arizona University Student-Athlete High Performance Center was recognized by the Phoenix Section Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society, commonly referred to as IES, with a 2024 Illumination Award of Merit in the Energy and Environmental Design section. Senior Associate and Electrical Designer Chris Hart was also recognized for his contributions to the project.
The IES鈥檚 organizational mission is to bring together those with lighting knowledge to improve the lighted environment and benefit the public.
Illuminating Engineering Society
The IES Illumination Awards recognize ingenuity, originality, and professionalism in lighting design. The Energy and Environmental Design category recognizes lighting installations in commercial and industrial spaces where advanced, energy-saving strategies and environmentally responsible solutions were incorporated into the design.
